The music video for "22" was shot in East London on June 1 2009. The video first shows Allen walking in the bathroom of, presumably a club. She sings the first verse into the mirror surrounded by women fixing their hair and make-up. Although her reflection sports immaculate make-up and a blunt fringe with neat hair, the real Allen is shown to have smudged make-up and messy hair. The younger looking reflection judges the older scruffy-looking Allen raising the question "Where did it all go wrong?". The women surrounding her then join her in the singing of the song. During the bridge, the women disappear and a man swoops Allen into a dance around the central sink unit. Near the end of the song Allen reverts back to her young pristine look, with her older, scruffy counter-part now in the reflection. Realising this is what to come of her in the future, she leaves the bathroom in disgust.
