YouTube Karaoke is a collection of flash music videos and lyrics. As the name implies a lot of our original content came from YouTube. Unfortunately, due to Google's increasing censorship of YouTube, we now have to get our content from a variety of different places. The idea is that you press play, scroll to the lyrics, sing and be merry. Alcohol and audience are optional! To request a video email us (see sidebar).
Some of the sharper members of our audience have noticed that if you scroll and sing you lose sight of the video. If this bugs you that much feel free to just enjoy the videos instead of scrolling!

"The Club Is Alive" is a song by British boyband JLS. It was released in the United Kingdom on 2 July 2010 as the lead single from their upcoming second studio album, Outta This World. Its lyrics sample "The Sound of Music", composed by Richard Rodgers to lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and originally performed by Mary Martin in the stage musical of the same name, but was later popularised by Julie Andrews in the 1965 film. It was written by Andrew Frampton, Savan Kotecha and Steve Mac and produced by Mac. Inspired by the musical film The Sound of Music, the song was originally intended for American rapper Flo Rida, but he declined. It debuted at number one in the United Kingdom on 11 July 2010 as their third number-one single, selling 84,283 copies in its first week. The music video for the single shows the band inside a nightclub and it was shot during the band's visit to Los Angeles while recording their second album.
